Almost There

We have several important updates:

Our updated pocket program is online. Just download our pocket program. Please note, that all times are subject to change.

Secondly, we have some important information for all of our members:

  • Fan Table hours will be the same as the dealer’s room: Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Sunday 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
  • We still have tickets available to our GOH Dinner, but seating is limited. For information, or to buy tickets online, check out the GOH Dinner link at the top of the page.
  • For the safety of our members and staff we request that you not bring laser pointers. They will not be allowed inside of convention areas. In a similar vein, vuvuzelas are also not allowed within convention areas.
  • The Raleigh Marriott has asked us not to run room ‘parties’. Instead we ask that you run ‘Meet and Greet’ events. We also ask that you be courteous towards the other guests, and keep parties inside of your private rooms. At the request of the hotel, please don’t let your Meet and Greets spill out into the hallways. Thank you.
  • We have our full press guidelines available here.

UPDATE 7/29: Disability Services & Child Care

Reconstruction will not be directly handling either of these services. For rental of mobility scooters
please contact Eric at Van Products in Raleigh, (919) 878-7110. They will be able to deliver them to the convention center next week.

Likewise, for child care, please contact the Sheraton hotel at 919-834-9900

UPDATED 7/30: Art show

The Art Show is excited to announce that we have reserved space for walk-ups. The prices will be $15 for a 2′x4′ section of panel or half of a 6′x30″ table, and $30 for a 4′x4′ section of panel or a full 6′x30″ table. Check out our Art Show page for information, including Art Show hours and the rules for artist submissions. Space in the Art Show is limited.

Announcement

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Guest of Honor Dinner Thursday of the convention. Tickets will be $15. Information is available here.

In addition we are still looking for volunteers. If you wish to volunteer shoot an email to operations@reconstructionsf.org.

As a final reminder, our room block at the Sheraton closes July 24th. This is your last chance to reserve a room at the convention price. Online registration closes July 25th. After that registration will only be available at the door.

Membership Update

It is official, preregistration is closed. If you have not already bought your membership though do not worry. Until July 25th you can still purchase your membership online through Paypal for our At the Door price. Please note, that if you have not already bought your membership your name will not appear in the program book or on the website.

Also, a quick reminder. If you have not reserved your hotel room this is your last shot. Registration in the Sheraton closes July 24th. For information about making your reservation check out the Facilities section of our site.

Hotel and Registration Update

Our room block at the Marriott is now officially closed. But if you have not yet made a reservation do not fret. The Sheraton has extended the deadline for reserving rooms until July 23rd.

Our preregistration closes July 15th. It is fast approaching so if you have not preregistered this is your last chance.

Art Show Update

Alright, we have added information about the Art Show. We have posted times, as well as information and registration forms for artists. You can check it out here, or from the Art Show link on our navigation sidebar.

More Updates

So we have just finished another round of website updates. First, we are happy to announce our at the door rates, including the day rates. You will find them at the bottom of our Membership page. Second, online registration for gaming is now open for both GM’s and players. Just check out the Gaming link from our Navigation sidebar.
